Level scaling is a game mechanic introduced in WoW® Legion. The essence of this feature is that item drops and rewards, mobs, and quests scale to the level of the character. Leveling zones from 10–70 will dynamically scale to your character’s level for a certain range.[1]
- Starting Zones: 1-10
- Classic Zones: 10-70
- Outland: 50-70
Also affects quests, dungeons, and zones.[1]
Dungeons scale up to the level limit of WoW® Burning Crusade expansion.
WoW® Classic raids are scaled from level 60 to 70. All raids will benefits from the truly flexible raid implementation, allowing the base group size to be down to half the original raid size.
